Hickety-pickety....

Our three hens were bought from a local farm on 26th January 2008.

We have two Bovans Nera hens and one Silverlink hen.
The two Bovans are called Monica and Erica, and the Silverlink is called Jessica.
This is our first venture with chickens, so we thought it'd be cool to keep a weblog of our activities.

My name's Andrea and my partner in chicken-keeping is Adam. The chickens live next to a lovely house on a farm near Sittingbourne. The run is in a derelict outbuilding next to the house. It has no roof except that which we made out of 2x2 and mesh. The door to the run is also 2x2 and mesh (the part I made is crooked and doesn't fit properly. I say ramshackle....)

Honey Goat

MIssing goat: please help

This goat went missing from my friend's farm in Darlington on 22nd March.
If anyone has seen her, could you please go to www.allotment.org.uk and request to email a moderator. Or you could email me: enquiries@nickelbooks.co.uk and I'll pass on the message.
She's a 4-year-old nanny goat and is still milking to feed her babies.

Most of the help we've received in this venture has come from:

p.s. the disclaimer at the bottom has a grammatical error in it. I didn't write it; it was written by SiteMaker and I can't change it. ("If you have any issues with the site and its contents, etc")
